AboutWeb has been in business for over fifteen years and has five divisions. We have focused on building our business based on leveraging our expertise and fostering long term relationships with our clients. Due to growth in a few sectors, primarily our Government Contracting Support group, we are looking for a technical recruiter in our Tyson’s Corner office in Vienna, VA. This person will have a number of different staff support options and will be a primary point of contact with our Business Development teams and our vendors.
The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for the identification, qualification, matching, advising, and managing of candidates. This employee will also be crucial as we continue to improve our recruiting process in coordination with the business development groups and our vendors.
We have existing contracts in place with a number of large organizations in the Washington Metro area and would like this candidate to oversee those relationships as well as help expand our client base to new organizations where our services will be helpful. We focus primarily on placing IT consultants either in contract or full-time positions so experience within the IT Staffing industry is desired but we are willing to consider all applicants with a human resources or recruiting background. This candidate will have the ability to capitalize on our existing client base and vendor networks but will also be encouraged to develop their own supplier base and grow team production. We are also looking for someone that will grow with our company so as this division expands we are looking for this person to move into a larger leadership role as well.
-5+ Years of professional experience preferably in recruiting for Information Technology roles.
-3+ Years within the staffing industry
-Excellent communications skills
-The ability to understand clients’ technical requirements and the ability to relay the information to other team members, vendors, and potential candidates
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required. A degree in a computer related field is preferred
-Demonstrable success developing and managing a staffing team is strongly preferred
