We are supporting an IT staffing & solutions company in the Alexandria area that is growing and looking for a mid level technical recruiter to join their team. This position is a full time, and is a long term opportunity.
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required.
. 2-5 years of experience is required.
. Knowledge of internet research, including sourcing and database mining techniques and experience with talent acquisition through social media channels is required.
. Experience posting available positions in compliance with company policy and procedures and federal and state laws is required.
. Proven ability to generate high quality diverse candidates under tight timelines.
. Proven track record of delivering hiring results.
. Must be self-motivated and results driven with ability to communicate and influence effectively with hiring managers and outside candidates.
. Highly organized in planning and time management with the ability to multi-task is required.
. Excellent collaboration skills are needed.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and great customer interaction is required.
. Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance.
. Must be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Source and evaluate candidates for presentation to hiring managers. Work as the liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and human resources staff. Understand functional area hiring needs, position specifications, and parameters of search requirements. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. Proactively research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies. Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches through applicant tracking tool. Post available positions inside and outside of client in compliance with company policy, procedures and federal and state laws. Track metrics regarding recruiting activity in compliance with company policy and procedures, federal and state laws. Maintain a strong network of contacts.
